By the end of this organisational change strategic review workshop, the minimum that participants will be able to is:

  • conduct a strategic review that responds to changes and trends in theirorganisations external operating environment
  • identify existing and potential competitors and collaborators
  • assess their organisation's strengths and weaknesses and internal capabilities
  • create and develop an organisational mission, strategies, objectives, policies, values and behaviours
  • identify the relevant critical success factors that must be addressed if success is to be achieved
  • examine the positive and negative driving forces in support of CSF's and change
  • gain support and commitment for the strategic review and all its elements
  • propose, evaluate and negotiate agreement for programmes, projects and plans to meet objectives
  • create plans and enable them to be implemented by providing resources, by delegating responsibility and authority, and by monitoring progress
  • establish measurement criteria for strategies and evaluate progress and performance
  • link requirements to capability, to HR Development
